Portraits. Documentary. Stories.

Liberty’s Kitchen

A New Orleans nonprofit providing culinary and workforce training for young adults. This assignment combined environmental portraits, classroom moments, and documentary coverage to tell the story of students developing skills and preparing for careers.

Youth Rebuilding New Orleans

Youth Rebuilding New Orleans empowers young people through hands-on construction and leadership programs. I documented students learning skilled trades, collaborating with mentors, and transforming both homes and themselves.

About Larry

Before becoming a photographer, I spent more than three decades in higher education and technology as a researcher, educator, engineer, and executive.

That experience helps me connect with the students, faculty, administrators, and alumni who bring institutions to life. My goal is simple: create photographs that help people understand not just what an institution does, but who makes it meaningful.
